Park Forest, IL–(ENEWSPF)–Editor’s Note: We continue our reporting on news from police reports. Besides covering the many stories from around Park Forest that otherwise might go unnoticed, we want to bring more complete coverage of police reports than is reported by other local media.

A Samsung Prevail cell phone valued at $100 was reported stolen from a classroom at Rich East High School on April 12.

A Gateway laptop computer valued at $600 and a cell phone valued at $20 were reported stolen from a residence in the 300 block of Miami Street on April 12.

The passenger side rear window of a vehicle parked in the 100 block of Ash Street was reported shattered on April 13.

The rear passenger side vent window of a vehicle parked in the 100 block of Ash Street was reported shattered on April 13.

Approximately 2 dollars in quarters were reported stolen from a vehicle parked in the 100 block of Birch Street on April 13. Police say entry was gained to the vehicle by shattering the rear vent window.

The rear drivers side vent window of a vehicle parked in the 300 block of Ash Street was reported shattered on April 13.

Police responded to the 200 block of Miami Street on April 13 in reference to a report of a domestic dispute. Police have suspect information and are investigating.

The driver’s side rear vent window of a vehicle parked in the 2800 block of Western Avenue was reported shattered on April 13.

Brandon O. Alexander, 28, 434 Tomahawk St., Park Forest, was arrested on April 13 and charged with retail theft when police responded to businesses in the first block of South Orchard Drive and the first block of Main Street. Additionally, Donna M. Jones, 56, 4549 Windsor Ct., Richton Park; and William R. Jones IV, 32, 4549 Windsor Ct., Richton Park, were arrested and issued citations charging illegal transportation of an alcoholic beverage.

The driver’s side rear vent window of a vehicle parked in the 200 block of Allegheny Street was reported shattered on April 13. Police say approximately 2 dollars in coins was stolen from the vehicle.

A hole that appeared to be from a bullet was discovered in the exterior siding of a residence in the 200 block of Allegheny Street on April 14.

A bullet hole was discovered in the front aluminum siding of a residence in the 200 block of Allegheny Street on April 14. Police recovered a bullet from the interior of the residence.

Vaneea L. Goodson, 25, 374 Sauk Trail, Park Forest, was arrested on April 14 and charged with battery when an officer was dispatched to the Park Forest Police Department to investigate a report of battery.

Titochie L. Tucker, 37, 639 Forsythe Ave., Calumet City, was arrested on April 14 and was charged with harassment by telephone when police responded to the first block of Birch Street to investigate a harassment by telephone complaint.

Morris Stoutmire, 47, 358 Neola St., Park Forest, was arrested on April 14 and charged with battery when police were dispatched to investigate a report of a domestic disturbance.

An officer responded to the Park Forest Police Department on April 15 to investigate a report of fraud. A resident reported that he owed $2031.56 to the IRS because his taxes were filed incorrectly. Police are investigating a company in connection with this case.

Police observed scratches on the rear driver’s side door and bumper of a vehicle parked in the 300 block of Juniper Street on April 15.

A Sprint HTC cell phone valued at $225 and a Samsung Galaxy II CELL phone valued at $300 were reported stolen from an office in the 100 block of Indianwood Boulevard on April 15.

The rear passenger side vent window of a vehicle parked in the 200 block of Dogwood Street was reported shattered on April 15. Approximately $10 in quarters was reported stolen from the vehicle.

The driver’s side rear vent window of a vehicle parked in the 3300 block of Western Avenue was reported shattered on April 15.

A black iPhone and approximately $20 in quarters was reported stolen from a vehicle parked in the 300 block of Dogwood Street on April 15. Police say access was gained to the vehicle by smashing the driver’s side rear vent window.

Four rims and tires valued at $1300 were reported stolen from a vehicle parked in the first block of South Arbor Trail on April 15.

The driver’s side rear vent window of a vehicle parked in the 200 block of Dogwood Street was reported shattered on April 15.

A bag containing an HP laptop computer was reported stolen from a vehicle parked in the 100 block of Hemlock Street on April 15. Police say the left rear vent window of the vehicle had been shattered.

The rear passenger-side vent window of a vehicle parked in the 100 block of Dogwood Street was reported shattered on April 15.

Kevin S. Norwood, 19, 327 Forest Blvd., Park Forest, was arrested on April 15 and issued a municipal citation charging resisting a police officer after police were dispatched to the 100 block of Illinois Street to investigate a report of unknown subjects knocking on a door. A juvenile was also charged with resisting a police officer.

A juvenile was arrested on April 15 and processed on a charge of battery when police responded to the 100 block of Indianwood Boulevard to investigate a report of battery.

A Gameboy DSI 3D valued at $200, a Gameboy DSI XL valued at $200, a 37-inch Sony LCD television valued at $600, an iPad valued at $400, and a 32-inch Magnavox LCD television valued at $400 are among items reported stolen from a residence in the 400 block of New Salem Street on April 16.

A 42-inch Toshiba flat-screen television valued at $300, a 46-inch flat-screen Panasonic television valued at $300, and keys to a car were reported stolen from a residence in the 23400 block of South Western Avenue on April 17.

A Minolta laptop computer valued at $1500 was reported stolen from the trunk of a vehicle parked in the 300 block of Wildwood Drive on April 17.

A Dell Inspiron 1545 laptop computer valued at $180 was reported stolen from a residence in the 300 block of Miami Street on April 17.

Two PlayStation 3 games valued at $100, a PlayStation 3 game system valued at $299.99, a T-Mobile cell phone valued at $200, and approximately $250 cash were reported stolen from a residence in the first block of Hemlock Street on April 18.

A pair of black and white Nike shoes valued at $85 and perfume valued at $40 were reported stolen from a residence in the 400 block of Tomahawk Street on April 18.

An HP laptop computer valued at $400 and an iPod Touch valued at $80 were reported stolen from a residence in the 100 block of Indianwood Boulevard on April 18.

An Xbox 360 game console, a Dell laptop computer, an HP Pavilion desktop computer monitor, a 55-inch HD white screen television and a pair of boots are among items reported stolen from a residence in the 100 block of Willow Street on April 19.

Dawunta D. Coleman, 18, 133 Hay St., Park Forest, was arrested on April 19 and issued a municipal citation charging trespassing when police responded to the 400 block of Sandburg Street to investigate a report of an unwanted person.

Two cans of Red Bull, two bags of snacks, a pair of boots, and a fruit rollup snack were among items reported stolen from a residence in the 400 block of Tomahawk Street on April 19.

Jeffrey I. Hope, 33, 49 Dogwood St., Park Forest, was arrested on April 19 and charged with possession of cannabis when an officer on foot patrol in the first block of Dogwood Street made "consensual contact" and smelled a strong odor of cannabis emanating from his person, according to police.

Benjamin D. Watkins, 18, 123 Hay St., Park Forest, was arrested on April 20 and charged with domestic battery when police were dispatched to the 300 block of Indianwood Boulevard in reference to a report of domestic battery.

Anthony D.L. Jacobs, 21, 4315 Sauk Trail, Richton Park, was arrested on April 21 and charged with possession of cannabis and issued a citation charging speeding when an officer traveling West on Sauk Trail approaching Minocqua Street observed that the vehicle Jacobs was driving was speeding, according to police.

The rear driver’s side window of a vehicle parked in the 400 block of Indianwood Boulevard was reported shattered on April 21. An officer saw what appeared to be a BB hole in the remaining glass as well as a small dent on the door that appeared consistent with a BB.

Jerome E. Watson, 32, 58 Ash St., Park Forest, was arrested on April 21 and charged with felony failure to register as a violent offender of youth after an officer investigated a possible violation of the Illinois Murderer and Violent Offender Against Youth Registration Act, according to police.

Approximately $2.00 In loose change was reported stolen from a vehicle parked in the 300 block of Oakwood Street on April 22.

Five catalytic converters valued at $1100 total were reported stolen from vehicles parked in the 2200 block of Western Avenue on April 22.

An officer was dispatched to the Park Forest Police Department on April 19 to investigate an identity theft incident. A resident told police that he received notification from a municipal court in Wright City, Missouri, indicating that he had been given an erroneous court date. He told police that he had never been to Wright City, Missouri.

Police say $1214.35 in fraudulent charges were reported by a resident against his checking account on April 22.

Steven L. Cosner, 23, 126 Nauvoo St., Park Forest, was arrested on April 23 and issued a municipal citation charging possession of cannabis when an officer patrolling in a vehicle near the intersection of Monee Road and Blackhawk Drive observed a subject walking along Monee Road who matched the description of a suspect on an earlier call of burglary to a motor vehicle, according to police.
