Roosevelt University Partners with InsideTrack to Increase Access and Success

CHICAGO–(ENEWSPF)–February 20, 2014.  Roosevelt University and InsideTrack, an organization that works with colleges to improve student success, have announced a partnership to enroll more students who fit Roosevelt’s programs and ensure that the students are well prepared for a successful collegiate experience.

InsideTrack will work with approximately 600 prospective Roosevelt students per month to support their long-term goals, assess their academic program options and develop plans for life-long accomplishments.  InsideTrack also will advise Roosevelt on its experiences with students and provide insights on operational and competitive issues.

InsideTrack’s one-on-one student coaching, process expertise, analytics and technology have increased graduation rates by an average of 15 percent and enhanced the student experience. Since 2001, it has partnered with a broad range of universities, including Penn State University, the University of Dayton, Arizona State University, and Columbia University.

“Roosevelt is focused on the total student experience,” said Douglas Knerr, executive vice president and university provost.  “We want to recruit students for whom Roosevelt is the right fit, enfold the students into a culture and community of challenging academics and social well-being and prepare them for lifelong success in a global marketplace.  We believe InsideTrack can help us do that.”

InsideTrack’s coaching program will be tailored to meet the unique needs of each incoming student.  Discussion topics will include how to balance a rigorous education program with work and family commitments, how to take advantage of Roosevelt’s many resources and how to develop successful habits for school and beyond.

“InsideTrack provides extensive expertise in personalizing the student experience and improving educational outcomes,” said Chris Tilghman, vice president of program development at InsideTrack. “It is an honor to be working with Roosevelt University, which shares our values about inclusiveness and the transformative power of education in society.”
