The Fifth Grade Hero activities involve a different student decorating the class Hero board each week, telling the class about their own personal heroes, and then visitors are invited in as their Hero guests to share some of their talents with the class. Grandmothers (including Mrs. Charlotte Kelly’s Mom), grandfathers, moms and dads talk about their jobs, their cultures, do crafts and more with the students.
