Free Movie and Discussion of ‘Forks Over Knives’ on Saturday, May 26 at UUCC

Park Forest, IL—(ENEWPSF)—May 17, 2012.  ‘Forks Over Knives’ will be screened on Saturday, May 26 at 7 p.m. at the Unitarian Universalist Community Church (UUCC), 70 Sycamore Drive, Park Forest.  A discussion will follow the movie screening.  The event is free and open to the public.

‘Forks Over Knives’ examines the profound claim that most, if not all of the degenerative disease that afflict us can be controlled, or even reversed by rejecting the standard American diet of animal-based and processed foods.  It is educational, entertaining, and life-saving.  In addition to looking at facts and research, this film traces the journey of several Americans as they move to a whole food plan-based diet, and the extraordinary medical results that follow.  Roger Ebert says, “Here is a film that could save your life.”

Free popcorn, coffee and tea will be provided.  Optional donations will be welcome.
