Park Forest, IL—(ENEWSPF)—September 10, 2012. How the 1950s Park Forest House Museum began and the history of its first fourteen years will be presented in an illustrated talk by volunteer Museum Director Jane Nicoll at the Annual Meeting of the Park Forest Historical Society on Sunday September 23. The program and meeting will be held in Park Forest Village Hall, 350 Victory Drive at 2:30 p.m.
The society's annual meeting and election of new board members will precede the program. September is membership drive month for the society. Those who join or renew a membership at this meeting get their choice of one free gift.
