Park Forest, IL--(ENEWSPF)--October 9, 2012. The Leagues of Women Voters of the Homewood-Flossmoor and Park Forest Areas and the National Council of Jewish Women South Cook Section invite the residents of the 40th Illinois Senate District and all residents of the area to attend a candidate forum on Wednesday, October 10, 2012, at 7:00 p.m. at the Park Forest Library. The library is located at the intersection of Lakewood and Orchard in Park Forest, and this program is open to the public.
Candidates for the 40th Senate District are Senator Toi Hutchinson of Olympia Fields and Charles E. Tuck Marshall of Frankfort. A candidate forum for the 19th Senate District originally scheduled for October 3, 2012, has been cancelled due to a lack of candidate participation.
