Park Forest, IL–(ENEWSPF)–Editor’s Note: We continue our reporting on news from police reports. Besides covering the many stories from around Park Forest that otherwise might go unnoticed, we want to bring more complete coverage of police reports than is reported by other local media.

An Apple iPhone was reported stolen from a gym locker at Rich East High School on September 29.

A credit card was reported on October 2 to have been used fraudulently to purchase food delivered to a residence in the 200 block of Indiana Street. Police discovered there were other times when the credit card was used fraudulently.

A wallet was reported missing from a vehicle parked in the 400 block of Springfield Street on October 6. Police could find no evidence of forced entry.

A wallet was reported stolen from an unlocked vehicle parked in the 200 block of Thomas Street on October 6.

About $10 in loose change was reported stolen from an unlocked vehicle parked in the 400 block of Hamlin Street on October 6.

Sharvisha A. Luckey, 20, 5629 Crestwood Rd., Matteson, was arrested on October 6 and issued a local ordinance ticket charging possession of cannabis and a traffic citation charging speeding 31 mph over the posted speed limit when an officer conducting a stationary radar in the 2900 block of Western Avenue observed that the vehicle Luckey was driving was traveling 66 mph in a 35 mph zone, according to police.

A purse was reported stolen from an unlocked vehicle parked in the 400 block of Todd Street on October 6.

A Seiko watch was reported stolen from an unlocked vehicle parked in the 200 block of Thomas Street on October 6.

The driver’s side of a vehicle parked in the 200 block of Juniper Street was reported scratched in a circular pattern on October 7.

David B. Armster Jr., 25, 55 N. Arbor Trail, Park Forest, was arrested on October 7 and issued a municipal citation charging possession of cannabis when an officer on patrol observed a vehicle parked at the east side of the parking lot in the first block of North Arbor Trail. The vehicle was occupied by one person for several minutes, according to police. Police say due to increased criminal activity in the area, the officer approached the vehicle in an attempt to make contact with the occupant.

A windshield of a vehicle parked in the first block of Marquette Place was reported shattered on October 8.

A blue mountain bike was reported stolen from the bike rack at the entrance of the Park Forest Public Library on October 8. Police have suspect information and are investigating.

David B. Armster, 25, 55 N. Arbor Trail, Apt. 303, Park Forest, was arrested on October 8 and charged with domestic battery and aggravated assault when police were dispatched to the first block of North Arbor Trail to investigate a report of a disturbance.

A juvenile was arrested and issued a municipal citation charging battery when police were dispatched to Rich East High School to investigate a report of battery.

Loren J. Browne, 42, 2682 Western Ave., Park Forest, was arrested on October 9 and issued a municipal citation charging possession of cannabis when police responded to the 2600 block of Western Avenue in response to a report of a domestic dispute.

A window of a residence in the first block of Indianwood Boulevard was reported shattered on October 10.

A white Apple MacBook Pro valued at $1500, an Xbox 360 valued at $300, a PlayStation 3 valued at $300, a silver necklace valued at $99, an Apple iPhone valued at $200, and miscellaneous pieces of jewelry are among items reported stolen during a residential burglary in the first block of Apache Street on October 10.

Maurice D. Angry, 26, 102 Wilson St., Park Forest, was arrested on October 10 and charged with battery when police were dispatched to the area of the Park Forest Aqua Center, 30 N. Orchard Drive, to investigate a report of a fight in the street.

A dark green laptop bag was reported stolen from an unlocked vehicle parked in the 300 block of Jackson Street on October 14.

A gold 2011 Chevrolet Malibu, Illinois license plate S757937, was reported stolen on October 14. The owner of the vehicle, a Park Forest resident, gave her friend permission to drive the vehicle on October 10 after he dropped her off at South Suburban Hospital in Hazel Crest. She attempted several times to contact him to make arrangements to have the vehicle returned.

An iPass was reported stolen from a vehicle parked in the 200 block of Indiana Street on October 14.

A Samsung Galaxy Note III cell phone valued at $500 was reported stolen from a residence in the 200 block of Forest Boulevard on October 15. Police have suspect information and are investigating.

A catalytic converter was reported stolen from a truck parked in the 100 block of North Orchard Drive on October 16.

A wallet and approximately $20 in mixed coins were reported stolen from an unlocked vehicle parked in the 300 block of Winnebago Street on October 16.

Sean K. Jones, 21, 310 Seminole St., Park Forest, and Darien M. Lawson, 19, 135 Nashua St., Park Forest, were arrested on October 17 and charged with one count each of felony burglary to auto when police were dispatched to the 100 block of Nashua Street to investigate a burglary from a motor vehicle complaint.

A window of a residence in the 100 block of Warwick Street was reported shattered on October 17.

A number of items including to Social Security cards were reported stolen from a vehicle parked in the 300 block of Winnebago Street on October 17.

A wallet found in a parking lot at Lincoln Mall in Matteson was discovered to have been stolen from a vehicle parked in the 300 block of Winnebago Street on October 17.

A candy bar was reported stolen from an unlocked vehicle parked in the 300 block of Winnebago Street on October 17.

A juvenile was arrested on October 17 and issued a municipal citation charging battery when an officer working at Rich East High School observed a fight inside the building near the east side entrance, according to police.

Steven K. Guy, 33, 347 16th St., Chicago Heights, was arrested on October 18 and charged with one count of felony driving while license was revoked, failure to yield at a left turn, no front plate, and operating an uninsured motor vehicle when an officer on patrol traveling southbound on Orchard Drive approaching North Street observed that the vehicle Guy was driving allegedly failed to yield to another driver who was making a right turn, from eastbound North Street onto southbound Orchard Drive, according to police.

A window of a residence in the 100 block of Lester Road was discovered to have been damaged by a BB or a small rock on October 18.

Maurice D. Taylor, 22, 580 Shelly Lane, Chicago Heights, was arrested on October 18 and issued a municipal citation charging possession of cannabis when police observed a vehicle parked in the first block of East Rocket Circle with its engine running, headlights on, and both front seats reclined far back such that the headrests were unable to be seen while driving past the vehicle, according to police. Police observed male driver and female passenger sleeping and the car.

Emmanuel Bowman, 40, 246 Gentry St., Park Forest, was arrested on October 19 and charged with domestic battery after police were dispatched to the 4100 block of Clark Drive in Richton Park to investigate a domestic battery incident that allegedly occurred in the 200 block of Gentry Street in Park Forest.

Marcus C. Sanders, 24, 9648 Albany Ave., Apt. 2, Evergreen Park, was arrested on October 18 and charged with aggravated assault and resisting a peace officer when police were dispatched to the 100 block of Nanti Street to investigate a report of a disturbance.

An orange 2003 Harley-Davidson Roadking motorcycle, Illinois license plate CU5969, was reported stolen from an unlocked garage in the first block of Minocqua Court on October 19.
