Elda Troiani, nee Spalluto, 85, June 10, 2010, resident of Steger, IL, previously of Chicago Heights, IL; Beloved wife of the late John V.; loving mother of David (Connie) Troiani and Douglas (Susan) Troiani; fond sister of Diva Zona and Lorena Pilota; cherished grandmother of Elizabeth, Jeffery (Nicole), John (Tammy) and Stephanie (Frank) and great-grandmother of 9. Elda is also survived by many loving nieces and nephews. Resting at Lain-Sullivan Funeral Home & Crematory, 50 Westwood Dr., just west of Western on Norwood, Park Forest, IL, where friends may call on Sunday from 3 to 8 p.m. Funeral Monday, 9:15 a.m., at chapel, to St. Agnes Church, 1501 Chicago Rd, Chicago Heights, IL. Mass of Christian Burial 10 a.m. Rev. David Simonetti, officiating. Interment Assumption Cemetery, Glenwood, IL. In lieu of flowers, memorials to Elda's favorite charity would be appreciated.
