Who are the terrorists?
After teaching a World Religions course for a number of years, it became increasingly important for me to research the role of terrorism in the world, and, in particular, who are these people who identify as terrorists?
When members of the faux media who explore issues "a mile wide and an inch deep" send a message repeatedly that any members of the second largest religion on the planet may terrorists, painting 1.2 billion people with the same brush, there is a need for clarification.
The video below gives simple clarification, identifying members of ISIS, Al Qaeda, or the Ku Klux Klan as loonies, non-religious self-serving loonies, with no religious credibility at all.
This video is used as an introduction to Islam. First, we identify the loonies, then we spend the rest of the unit studying real Islam, true, devout Muslims.
