Youth Mugged on Nauvoo


Park Forest, IL—(ENEWSPF)— A man wearing a black hooded sweatshirt, black ski mask, black gloves, black pants and shoes allegedly robbed a 15-year-old juvenile who was walking on Nauvoo from Indianwood on November 26. The incident took place between 4 p.m. and 5 p.m. The suspect allegedly approached the victim, grabbed his right shoulder and said, "Don’t move and give me your money."

According to the report, the victim told the suspect to calm down. The suspect then said, "No, you calm down, and if you make any sudden moves, I will kill you." The victim gave the suspect $52 in US currency. The suspect then fled south on Talala Street.

The victim said the suspect did not display any weapons.

The suspect is described as a male, 19 to 20 years of age, approximately 6 feet tall, with a stocky build, and light brown or hazel eyes. Anyone with information is asked to call 708-748-4700.
