Michael J. DeBonfioli, Age 17, of Chicago Heights, Illinois, passed away suddenly on January 10, 2010. Survived by his loving parents Michael C. and Elizabeth (Nee Rymarz). Beloved sister Danielle DeBonfioli. Cherished Grandparents Lottie Rymarz and Giovanni DeBonfioli. Leaves behind four Aunts, four Uncles and 6 Cousins.
Michael loved his pet birds Morado and Val. He was a Senior Leader of the Leadership Program, on the Recruiting Committee for Marian Catholic, an office assistant, on the Illinois State Scholar Honor Roll, on the National and Spanish Honor Societies, AP Scholar, on the Cross Country and Tennis Teams, was the past Vice President and Secretary of the Student Council. He was also a tutor and he was accepted at Indiana University at Bloomington for the Honors Business program. He also belonged to the Appalachia Program.
Visitation Thursday, January 14, 2010, from 2 PM to 8 PM at Kerr-Parzygnot Funeral Home, 540 Dixie Hwy. (at Joe Orr Rd.), Chicago Heights, IL, 60411. Funeral Mass Friday, January 15, 2010 at 10 AM at Infant Jesus of Prague Catholic Church. Entombment at Assumption Catholic Cemetery, Glenwood, Illinois. For information call 708-754-0016.
