PSC to Hold Open House for Parents and Students

Chicago Heights, IL–(ENEWSPF)– Choosing a college is an important choice.

Among the many options that Prairie State College (PSC) offers, students can earn an associate’s degree to transfer to a four-year school or gain job specific skills to enter the workforce with a degree or certificate.

To learn more, students and their parents are invited to attend Info Night on Thursday, June 10, from 5 to 7 p.m. Info Night will be held in the Heritage Community Bank Room, located in the Business and Community Education Center, on PSC’s main campus, 202 S. Halsted St., Chicago Heights.

Info Night is an open house designed to provide information about the admissions process, financial aid, scholarships, student life, athletics, transfer degrees, and degree and certificate programs. Faculty, staff, and administrators will be on hand to answer questions.

“Students and their parents can stop by any time during Info Night and stay until they get the information they came for,” said Beth Wyack, enrollment advisor. “Parents will find that Prairie State College is affordable, and students will find lots of options to reach their educational and career goals.”

Those who can’t attend Info Night are encouraged to meet with an academic advisor; no appointment is necessary. Registration for fall classes is underway, and classes begin August 23. For more information about Info Night, call Wyack at (708) 709-7776 or e-mail [email protected].
