Park Forest Police: These Offenses Solved


Park Forest, IL-(ENEWSPF)- Village officials report the following arrests have been made after recent police reports. Police consider these cases "cleared," now before the courts.

The cases, previously reported on ENEWSPF.COM:

  • Robbery of a 60 year-old victim on Winnemac Street: the fourth (and last) offender was arrested on July 9th. In addition to the four charged, several “witnesses” were sworn in at Grand Jury.
  • Robbery of a 14 year-old victim near the library was cleared by arrest on 7/10/13.
  • Residential Burglary at 328 Indianwood cleared by arrest of 16 year-old offender.
  • Residential Burglary at 3 Wilson Court cleared by arrest of 16 year-old offender.
  • Nine (9) people arrested for Violation of Park Rules (after hours and or conduct) at Central Park. Ages ranged from 16 years old to 19.
  • Possession of Cannabis at Central Park cleared by arrest of 19 year-old offender.
  • Armed Robbery of two female juveniles at Central Park cleared by arrest of 15 year-old offender. The second offender has been identified as is being sought with the assistance of surrounding agencies.
  • Robbery of a juvenile at Somonauk Park cleared by arrest of a 17 year-old offender.
  • Residential Burglary at 330 Oakwood cleared by arrest of 14 year-old offender.
  • Burglary to a school at 215 Wilson Street cleared by arrest of a 14 year-old offender.
  • Robbery of a juvenile at Shabbona/Talala cleared by arrest of a 19 year-old offender.
  • Trespass arrest at Central Park cleared by arrest of 19 year-old offender.
  • A death investigation (suicide) at 227B Forest Boulevard required dedication of a large block of time by investigating officers.
