Prairie State College to Offer Course in ‘Landscape Concepts’


CHICAGO HEIGHTS—(ENEWSPF)—February 14, 2015. Prairie State College (PSC) is offering a new course this semester through our corporate and continuing education department titled ‘Landscape Concepts.’ This interactive, eight-hour course will be held on March 10 and 11 from 8 a.m. to 12 p.m. OR March 24 and 25 from 6 p.m. to 9:50 p.m. and held in Room 108 of the Matteson Area Center, 4821 Southwick Drive, Matteson.

Participants will gain an understanding in selecting, placing, conserving, protecting, maintaining and establishing functional landscapes. Widely accepted practices and standards used by professionals in the field will be provided. The course is recommended for turf managers, landscape architects and landscape professionals.
