Park Forest, IL–(ENEWSPF)–Editor’s Note: We continue our reporting on news from police reports. Besides covering the many stories from around Park Forest that otherwise might go unnoticed, we want to bring more complete coverage of police reports than is reported by other local media.

A black 2006 Hyundai Elantra was reported stolen from the 300 block of Dogwood Street on November 4.

Randy A. Madewell, 51, 62 Marquette St., Park Forest, was arrested on November 5 and issued municipal tickets charging public intoxication and public elimination of bodily waste when police responded to the 300 block of Victory Drive to investigate a report of public intoxication.

Two windows of a vehicle parked in the 100 block of Chestnut Street were reported shattered on November 6.

A resident told police on November 6 that, while driving northbound on Western Avenue near the south intersection of Dogwood Street, he heard a loud noise that sounded like an explosion. After examining his vehicle when he reached his destination, the man discovered a small dent to the front passenger side door. Police say the dent was small and round in shape, consistent with that of a BB gun.

Ryan S. Cain, 26, 43 McCarthy Rd., Park Forest, was arrested on November 7 and charged with aggravated speeding and possession of a controlled substance when an officer traveling northbound on Western Avenue observed the vehicle Cain was driving traveling southbound on Western Avenue from the area of Illinois Street at 66 mph in the 35 mph zone, according to the in-car radar, according to police.

Donquishae Washington, 21, 3417 Kings Rd., Apt. 217, Steger, was arrested on November 8 and was issued a municipal citation charging possession of cannabis and a traffic citation charging improper turn when an officer patrolling at Victory Road at South Orchard Drive observed that the vehicle Washington was driving, stopped at the red light eastbound at Lakewood Drive and South Orchard Drive, turned right, or south, in front of a southbound vehicle on South Orchard Drive, causing the other vehicle to quickly brake and sound the car horn, according to police.

Maxine Poole, 36, 141 Lester Rd., Park Forest, was arrested on November 8 and charged with driving while license was suspended, operation of an uninsured motor vehicle, speeding over the posted limit, expired registration, and issued a municipal citation charging unlawful possession of cannabis. According to police, an officer observed the vehicle Poole was driving eastbound in the 300 block of Sauk Trail going 45 mph in the posted 30 mph zone, according to the in-car radar.

Tamera J. Hunter, 59, 1725 Memorial Dr., Calumet City, was arrested on November 8 and charged with driving under the influence of alcohol, operation of an uninsured motor vehicle, and improper lane usage, when an officer traveling eastbound on Sauk Trail passing Minocqua Street was passed by a vehicle that appeared to be traveling at a high rate of speed, according to police. The vehicle crossed the center line three times, narrowly avoiding a collision with eastbound traffic, according to police.

The rear door of a residence in the 300 block of Winona Street was reported kicked in on November 9.

Kisa N. Gaddis, 37, 56 Indianwood Blvd., Park Forest, was arrested on November 9 and processed on an outstanding warrant charging harassment by electronic means when police responded to the first block of Hemlock Street to assist a citizen.

Jonathan B. Allieu, 24, 297 Juniper St., Park Forest, was arrested on November 9 and issued citations charging possession of cannabis and unauthorized use of a parking space when an officer observed that a vehicle was parked at Walgreens on South Orchard Drive in a marked handicapped parking space with no handicapped placard visible, according to police.

The rear door of a residence in the 100 block of Chestnut Street was reported kicked in on November 10. Nothing was reported missing from the residence.

A resident told police that she saw someone dragging a small black smoker grill which was reported to have been pulled out of the rear of a truck in the first block of Elm Street on November 9. After yelling at the person dragging the grill and threatening to call the police, the subject dropped the grill and fled the area.

Ronald L. Owens, 34, 3006 Western Ave., Park Forest, was arrested on November 10 and charged with one count of aggravated assault when police were dispatched to the 3000 block of Western Avenue to investigate a report of a domestic disturbance.

An Apple MacBook was reported stolen during a residential burglary from a residence in the 200 block of Forest Boulevard on November 10. Entry had been gained to the residence by a key left under a welcome mat, according to police.

A resident told police on November 10 that she received a letter from the Illinois Department of Employment Security in reference to her change of address. The resident related that she never filed for a change of address.

A back window of a residence in the first block of Water Street was reported shattered on November 11 when police responded to investigate a report of a suspicious person.

An upstairs bedroom window of a residence in the 200 block of Arcadia Street was reported shattered on November 11 when police were dispatched to investigate an alarm call.

Jeremy T. Purdy, 28, 3954 Crete Rd., Crete, was arrested on November 11 and charged with felony driving while license was revoked and operation of an uninsured motor vehicle when police responded to the intersection of Western Avenue and Steger Road in reference to a report of a two vehicle collision.

A resident told police on November 11 that, while getting gas for her vehicle, she observed a white powder in the gas cap area. She planned to take the vehicle to a mechanic to determine if any damage had occurred. She requested the report to document the incident.

The rear window of a vehicle parked in the 200 block of Lester Road was reported shattered on November 11.
