Donald Trump Will Outlaw C-sections if He Becomes President

“I don’t know what the f@$* I’m talking about, but I do it very, very well, and you know what? Millions of people love me. My win is going to be HUGE.”

So, that time when Donald Trump was debating Hillary Clinton and the moderator Chris Wallace asked him how he felt about “partial birth” abortions?  And Trump responded with

“ … Hillary is saying in the ninth month you can take the baby and rip the baby out of the womb of the mother just prior to the birth of the baby. Now, you can say that that’s okay, and Hillary can say that that’s okay, but it’s not okay with me. Because based on what she’s saying … you can take the baby and rip the baby out of the womb in the ninth month, in the final day, and that’s not acceptable.”

Remember that?

Yeah well, some folks don’t call that an abortion, they call it a “Cesarean delivery” or C-section:

a surgical procedure used to deliver a baby through incisions in the mother’s abdomen and uterus.

A C-section might be planned ahead of time if you develop pregnancy complications or you’ve had a previous C-section and aren’t considering vaginal birth after cesarean (VBAC).

Often, however, the need for a first-time C-section doesn’t become obvious until labor is underway.

Donald Trump reiterated that if elected president he will most assuredly appoint conservative justices to the Supreme Court that will roll back Roe v. Wade. That would effectively end a woman’s right to abortion … and obviously, a C-section if that’s what she needs in order to save her life.

Fortunately, Twitter was there to correct the record and slam Trump’s glaring ignorance.
