Park Forest, IL—(ENEWSPF)—January 6, 2017. Please join The League of Women Voters – Park Forest Area for the first candidate forum for the Village of Park Forest on Sunday, January 29, from 1:30 p.m. to 4:30 p.m. at the Park Forest Village Hall, 350 Victory Drive in DownTown Park Forest. This forum is presented with the cooperation of The Committee for Local Government in Park Forest.
The candidates for library board will speak from 1:30 – 2:30 and the trustee candidates will speak from 3:00 – 4:30. Everyone is welcome to attend.
The League of Women Voters is a nonpartisan political organization which encourages informed and active participation in government, works to increase understanding of major public policy issues, and influences public policy through education and advocacy.
