‘Lake Calumet Then & Now’ Presentation on Thursday, March 2


CHICAGO—(ENEWSPF)—February 24, 2017.  The Calumet Heritage Partnership and Calumet Ecological Park Association will host a presentation ‘Lake Calumet Than & Now’ on Thursday, March 2 at 7 p.m.  The event will be held at the Chicago Police 5th District Station Community Room, 727 East 111th Street in Chicago. Safe, free parking is available in the police station parking lot.

Roseland and Pullman historian Paul Petraitis will bring a lively, fresh presentation about Lake Calumet.  Petraitis will be joined by Tom Shepherd of the Lake Calumet Vision Committee. The presentations will be followed by a question and answer period.

The event is free and open to the public.  Refreshments will be served. Share your Lake Calumet stories of fishing, hunting, swimming, exploring, etc. to make this a fun night to reminisce and to learn about future plans.
