Unitarian Universalist Community Church to Screen Documentary Film ‘Children of Syria’ on Friday, March 24

Park Forest, IL—(ENEWSPF)—March 21, 2017. The Unitarian Universalist Community Church (UUCC), 70 Sycamore Drive in Park Forest will screen the documentary film ‘Children of Syria – How Four Child Refugees Said Goodbye to Syria’ on Friday, March 24 at 7 p.m. There will be a discussion following the film.

The film depicts a startling, intimate look at the Syrian war and the refugee crisis, through the eyes of some of the youngest people living through them.  The story of four children surviving in war-torn Aleppo, and their escape to a new life in Germany.

The event is free and open to the public.  Donations appreciated. Coffee, tea and popcorn will be provided.
