Sullivan High School’s Embrace of Immigrants and Refugees Featured on WTTW’s ‘Chicago Tonight’


CHICAGO–(ENEWSPF)–May 23, 2017.  WTTW-TV’s local public affairs program “Chicago Tonight,” last night featured Sullivan High School and its renowned English Language Learners Program for immigrants and refugees, who speak little or no English.

Sullivan and its program is the subject of a recently released Chicago Magazine article, which is on newsstands now and will be available online June 5th.

The reporter, Elly Fishman, and Sullivan teacher, Sarah Quintenz, who heads up the program, were interviewed last night by WTTW’s Phil Ponce. To view the interview, click here.
