Park Forest, IL-(ENEWSPF)- The heat and humidity stopped no one from dancing, clapping, or otherwise enjoying the band Generation at Wednesday’s Main Street Nights.

There was the bounce house for the kids. Bounce house? Is that right? Bouncy bounce?

Whatever. It was there and the children, thoroughly enjoying summer’s heat, lined up to get inside.

And the band.

Generation, from the west side of Chicago, supplied the energy for the evening with a soul-stirring depth. There was David Bowie’s Let’s Dance, and some braved the heat to dance the night away.

Frontman David Huizenga took his moves from the newly-refurbished stage on the Village Green into the crowd. And there were the cell phone cameras, many taking video during their favorite songs, some dancing with cell phone in hand, pointed at the band. Vocalist Stefanie Berecz took the lead on Creedence Clearwater Revival’s Proud Mary, which began as expected, and then took off with a life of its own.
