Park Forest, IL—(ENEWSPF)— Participants and visitors to the Tall Grass Arts Association 52nd Art Fair filled the streets of downtown Park Forest Saturday and Sunday. The fair enjoyed two days of perfect weather, and many visited the food vendors on Cunningham Drive.

The Park Forest Art Fair is one of the longest running suburban art fairs in existence; and more than 100 artists displayed and sold original artworks. There was also live entertainment and activities for children.

Park Forest Artist Ginny Raftery, who took top prize at last year’s art fair, said she was very happy with the turnout this year, "I really enjoyed it. Tall Grass Arts Association, the whole board, does a wonderful job. They’re very gracious to [the artists]. They provide us with a meal on Saturday. It’s awefully sweet of them. Their presence throughout whole fair is really helpful."

More pictures from the fair are available for viewing and purchase at the eNews Park Forest Photo Gallery.
