Park Forest, IL–(ENEWSPF)– Design’d to Go Florist celebrated its grand opening at 323 Main Street last week. Village officials and staff were on hand for the ribbon cutting, along with family members and friends of the business. Owners Cathy and Michael Shears moved their business from the Chicago Loop so they could be closer to home.
Cathy Shears says she is very happy at the new location, "I love the move to Park Forest. I moved from Downtown Chicago where I’d been for about 13 years. I was looking for another location and actually happened to stumble across DownTown Park Forest where I was welcomed very well. I love being here on Main Street. The community is very open, very supportive."
The Shears have been in the floral business for 16 years.
Design’s to Go is a full-service florist business. They do weddings, small parties, large parties, green plants, blooming plants, fresh arrangements, balloon bouquets, gourmet and food baskets, according to Shears.
