Park Forest, IL-(ENEWSPF)- They’re not offering to shovel. Instead, these driveway scammers are going door-to-door offering to put blacktop sealer on your driveway when the weather warms.
According to Park Forest Police, “We’ve gotten a few reports of a homeowner scam making its way around town. Residents are being approached about blacktop sealer for their driveways from less than reputable sources.”
“If you have ANY concerns about what you’re hearing please call us,” police stress. “We’d love to speak with these ‘business owners’ for you!”
