eNews Park Forest Publisher Accepted at NNA


nna-logoPark Forest, IL–(ENEWSPF)– The editor and publisher of eNews Park Forest has been accepted for membership in the National Newspaper Association.  The website of the NNA describes the organization as follows:

Established in 1885, the National Newspaper Association (NNA) is the national voice of community newspapers.  NNA represents owners, publishers, and editors of America's community newspapers and with over 2,500 newspaper members, is currently the largest newspaper association in the United States.

The mission of the National Newspaper Association is to protect, promote and enhance America's community newspapers.

  •  NNA protects community newspapers through active and effective government relation programs that addresses the issues affecting community newspapers.
  • NNA promotes community newspapers by educating readers, advertisers, and policy officials on the benefits and value of community newspapers.
  • NNA enhances community newspapers by providing information, solutions and strategies on current and emerging issues affecting the business interest of community newspapers. 

Membership in the National Newspaper Association is open to non-daily and daily newspapers with at least 25% editorial content.  Both free and paid circulations are eligible for membership.  Electronic and on-line publications may also join NNA.
