eNews Park Forest Welcomes 2 Interns

Park Forest, IL—(ENEWSPF)— eNews Park Forest is pleased to welcome two summer intern reporters. Alan Edrinn will serve as reporter, and Wendy Heise will add her expertise as a photojournalist.

Reporter Alan Edrinn currently is pursuing a Bachelor of Science degree at Northern Illinois University. A Matteson resident, Alan is majoring in Journalism and Communications, with a minor in English. His work experience includes serving as City Reporter and Assistant City Editor for the Northern Star Newspaper. The Northern Star is the student publication of Northern Illinois University with a circulation of 16,000.

Wendy is a native of Park Forest growing up in the Co-ops on Juniper Street and graduating from Rich East High School.   For the past nine years, Wendy has been involved in photography in many different genres.   She has studied not only in the field but also at Prairie State College and with one of the Tribunes’ Photo Editors, Todd Panagopoulos.   Wendy started by photographing events for friends and family then becoming a professional photographer for several local studios and doing commercial work for businesses and websites which all lead to starting her own business, WiSH Photography.  Wendy brings her keen artistic eye, years of experience working in a variety of aspects of photography and her love of capturing life’s moments.

"We’re very excited to see this project grow. Alan and Wendy both demonstrate a rich air of professionalism, and I look forward to working with them to bring news stories to the residents of Park Forest," said publisher Gary Kopycinski.
