Lisle, IL—(ENEWSPF)— eNews Park Forest photographer Wendy Heise used her eNewsPF.com Press Pass to hitch a ride on a hot air balloon last Saturday in Lisle, IL.
According to event organizers at lisleballoons.com, "The Lisle Eyes to the Skies Balloon Festival began 25 years ago as a way to commemorate Lisle’s Bicentennial as a settlement. The first festival lasted one day and featured 10 balloons and the Fifth Dimension performing in a small pavilion." The event is produced by the Lisle 4th of July Committee. While not an event located in Park Forest, we thought some might enjoy a trip with our photographer.
Take a ride with Wendy and the Re/Max Balloon Team as they sail away. Your musical accompaniment for the trip is by Johann Pachelbel, Canon in D.
