Clinton Foundation Alert About Fraudulent Solicitations


NEW YORK–(ENEWSPF)–May 13, 2010.  Several fraudulent solicitations claiming to be from or associated with the William J. Clinton Foundation are circulating the internet in various languages. Some of these scams include:

  • Emails from a person named “Chapman Jennifer” inviting attendees to the “17th Roundtable of NGO/CBO which is scheduled from 24th to 29th May 2010 in Little Rock-Arkansas – USA.”
  • Emails from an individual or individuals misrepresenting themselves as agents of the Clinton Foundation regarding an International Roundtable conference on topics including HIV/AIDS, Climate Change, and Haiti.
  • Emails from an individual or individuals misrepresenting themselves as agents of the Fidelity UK Foundation promoting a conference and claiming President Clinton will be speaking at the event.
  • Emails from an individual or individuals misrepresenting themselves as agents of Microsoft promoting a Microsoft lottery.
  • Emails from an individual or individuals (including someone identifying himself as “Ralph McGill”) misrepresenting themselves as agents of the Clinton Foundation who are hiring representatives to receive donations and perform other tasks on behalf of the Foundation and other charities.

Please be advised, ALL SUCH SOLICITATIONS ARE FRAUDULENT AND IN NO WAY CONNECTED OR AFFILIATED WITH THE WORK OF THE CLINTON FOUNDATION. We are taking steps to address these matters.
