On Sunday, November 12, the Park Forest People of Faith will host an afternoon of testimonies and conversation to learn about the immigrant experience of DREAMers and others, as well as how we can help build community solidarity, respect and love. The event will be moderated by Father Terry Johnson at St. Irenaeus Church, 78 Cherry Street in Park Forest from 2:30 p.m. to 4:30 p.m.
Participants will:
- gain a better understanding of what DACA is;
- the importance of immigration justice; and
- how to help in the future.
