F.A.M.E. to Host ‘A Dinner Dance Gala’ to Support Chicago Aspiring Artists on April 28

The Foundation of Artists Mentored in Entertainment (F.A.M.E.) will host its seventh annual fundraiser “A Dinner Dance Gala” to support Chicagoland aspiring artists.

The gala will be held on Saturday, April 28 at the Chicago Yacht Club Belmont, 300 West Belmont Avenue in Chicago. This night of dinner and dancing will be the finale of F.A.M.E.’s 2018 Annual Talent Competition. One dancer and one singer will be awarded $1200 each.

The Gala will also have multiple raffles valued more than $5,000.

This year, the audience will have the opportunity to vote for their favorite dancer and singer!  Celebrity judges include:

  • Candace Jordan, Celebrity media contributor
  • Michael McStraw, Executive Director of Nan Giordano,
  • David O’Connor, Owner/Director of O’Connor Casting Company, and
  • Denise Tomasello, known as the Queen of Chicago’s Cabaret.

Notorious comedian Kelsie Huff will be the MC for the night.  Invite your family (ages 18 and up) and friends for a night filled with excitement, thrills and entertainment.

Tickets are $75 and can be purchased online here or at the door (Cash only). Ticket price includes dinner, entertainment and one complimentary drink ticket.

Since 2010, the diverse F.A.M.E. team of experienced professionals has been dedicated to mentoring artists all while hosting multiple fundraising events each year. F.A.M.E.’s mission is to provide young, deserving Chicagoland performers with funding and mentorship to advance their artistic careers.
