‘Hacking Democracy’ to be Screened at the Unitarian Universalist Community Church on Saturday, September 22

Park Forest, IL—(ENEWSPF)–On Saturday, September 22 at 7 p.m., the Unitarian Universalist Community Church, 70 Sycamore Drive, Park Forest, will screen the documentary ‘Hacking Democracy.’  A discussion will follow the movie.

Electronic voting machines count about 87% of the votes cast in America today.  But are they reliable and safe from tampering?  If the voting process is not secure, then our democracy isn’t safe either.  This timely documentary exposes gaping holes in the security of America’s electronic voting system.

Free coffee, tea and popcorn will be provided.  Bring a snack to share if you wish.  The event is open to the public.  Optional donations will be accepted.  For additional information, call 708-481-5339 or visit www.uuccpf.org
