NURSES HEAL ELDERS

A cultural competency course for nurses, designed to help you

  • understand the lives and concerns of the older LGBT patient
  • recognize barriers to care and health disparities that LGBT elders face
  • gain insight into the roles that gender and sexuality play in the lives
    of LGBT elders
  • learn how HIV is affecting the older adult
  • effectively communicate with and care for your patients
