Park Forest, IL–(ENEWSPF)– The Illinois Theatre Center of Park Forest will present Chicago’s Inconceivable Theatre Company for one performance of WILDE TALES, based on children’s stories by Oscar Wilde, for one performance only, Saturday afternoon, May 21, at 2 PM.

Inconceivable Theatre is a new company that presents its own adaptations of classic literature. WILDE TALES is adapted by Tony Dobrowolski and directed by Patricia Ansuini. It consists of four stories: “The Devoted Friend”, “The Nightingale and the Rose”, “The Selfish Giant”, and “The Remarkable Rocket”. These fairy tales explore love, friendship, loyalty and the foibles of ego with charm, poignancy, and humor suitable for the whole family.

The cast features Camille Cadenhead, Ellen Cribbs, Elliot Fredland, Mat Labotka, Chris Lysy, and Patrick Murphy. They bring to life such characters as talking flowers, opinionated birds, philosophic frogs, an introspective water rat, self-centered fireworks, and a myriad of people – some good, some bad, and all indelibly human.

The production is 70 minutes long and will be followed by a “talk-back” question-and-answer session with the cast. Tickets are priced at $10 for adults and $5 for children under 12. The Illinois Theatre Center is located in Downtown Park Forest at 371 Artists Walk (off Indianwood Blvd, adjacent to Village Hall). For more information, call 708-481-3510.
