January Lectures for Southland Community Associates of the Art Institute of Chicago


Chicago, IL–(ENEWSPF)– The Southland Community Associates of the Art Institute of Chicago invites the residents of the Southland area to the Wednesdays in January Lecture Series. The programs will be held at the Art Institute of Chicago, 111 South Michigan, in Fullerton Hall at 10:45 A.M. January 5, 2011 will feature Art in Sculpture: " Embroidery Upon Clay" by speaker Tricia Scanlan, adjunct lecturer, of the Art Institute of Chicago. Art in Photography: "The Dialogue Between Photography and Painting" by Cynthia Noble, adjunct lecturer for the AIC, will be presented on January 12, 2011. Kathleen Roy Cummings, adjunct lecturer for the AIC will speak on the topic of Art in Architecture: "The Architect as Artist" on Wednesday, January 19, 2011.

The final topic in this series will be Art in Advertising by Annie Morse, senior lecturer, AIC on January 26, 2011.
