CHICAGO HEIGHTS–(ENEWSPF)– Union Street Gallery is hosting its first ever open studio day! Come join the Union Street Gallery studio artists for a day and get a behind the scenes look at the artists creative process. You will be able to watch them work, ask questions, and learn how they do what they do. The event will take place on Saturday, December 7 from 1 p.m. to 3 p.m.
Some artists will be doing demos or providing a hands-on art activity, and guests are welcome to bring sketch books and work alongside the artists. Artwork will be available for purchase directly from the artists as well.
Artist studios are located on all 3 floors of the building. Signage is posted to guide visitors.
Light refreshments will be served. This event is free, we just ask that if you enjoy yourself and learn something, that you donate on your way out to help keep programs like this going.
