Park Forest, IL—(ENEWSPF)—November 9, 2010. At 11 a.m. on Veterans’ Day, Thursday, November 11, Park Forest officials, religious leaders, representatives from the American Legion of Park Forest and Chicago Heights and the Garden Clubs of Illinois will rededicate the Blue Star Marker which honors men and women of the armed forces.
The Blue Star Marker is being moved from its current location on Juniper Street to the corner of Lakewood Drive and Orchard Boulevard (across the street from the Park Forest Library). Residents are encouraged to attend.
