Park Forest, IL–(ENEWSPF)– This month’s Rainbow Café, Dec. 19th, will be a festive holiday party featuring a film that won prizes at the Seattle Gay/Lesbian film festival, is not available on commercial DVD. “13 Love Stories” profiles the moving stories of thirteen gay, lesbian, or transgendered married couples who were profoundly affected by California’s passing of Proposition 8 to eliminate the right of same-sex couples to marry.

The party will begin at 7:30 at the Unitarian Universalist Church, 70 Sycamore Drive, Park Forest IL, just off Western Ave. between Steger Road and Exchange. There is no admission charge, but those attending will be given a raffle ticket for a door prize: a holiday basket including wine & goblets, potpourri, candles, candies, etc. There will be a drawing for the door prize after the movie, and holiday music and punch. Hot tea will also be available.

Those attending are encouraged to bring some holiday foods or deserts to pass, or bring a financial donation; however, none of these are mandatory; you are welcome regardless.
