Sauk-Calumet Group of Illinois Sierra Club to Explore Newfoundland at December Meeting

The Sauk-Calumet Group of the Illinois Sierra Club will hold its regular monthly meeting on Monday, December 11th, at 7:15 p.m. at the Frankfort Public Library, 21119 Pfeiffer Rd.

Gregg Ott and Christy Mazrimas Ott will tell tales and show slides of their adventures on Newfoundland, a remote Canadian island, known for puffins, caribou, icebergs, black bears, and humpback whales!

After the meeting, some of the group will meet at Durbin’s for pizza and conversation.

Sierra Club meetings are free and open to the public.  People interested in nature and the outdoors, or preserving the environment are encouraged to attend.  For more info, contact Patrick Coffey at – [email protected].
