CHICAGO HEIGHTS—(ENEWSPF)—May 24, 2015. The Drama Group is pleased to present the Pulitzer Prize nominated play, ‘Other Desert Cities’, directed by Warren Sampson, with set design by Jane Nix. Performances will be held at the Drama Group Studio Theatre on June 12, 13, 18, 19 & 20 at 7:30 p.m. and June 14 & 21 at 2:00 p.m.
Set in Palm Springs, California, this award-winning compact family drama addresses the notions of deception, trust, loyalty, privacy and integrity using a deliciously straightforward setup. ‘Other Desert Cities’ received five nominations for the 2012 Tony Awards, including for Best Play, Best Actress in a Play, Best Scenic Design, and Best Lighting Design.
