Park Forest, IL—(ENEWSPF)—October 9, 2013. As the leaves fall come celebrate the woods with a concert by Ingrid Krizan and the Thorn Creek Chamber Players on Friday, October 25 at 7 p.m. at Thorn Creek Nature Center.
Ingrid is a classically trained professional cellist who weaves seasonal nature narratives into her music. Bringing this music, these ideas and live performances to a wide audience are her passions. Her unique “Bach & I” performances are very popular in the area and particularly at our Thorn Creek music events. The newly formed Thorn Creek Chamber Players will perform in the warm wooded acoustics of our 1860’s nature center building.
All proceeds will directly benefit Thorn Creek Woods Nature Preserve and Nature Center. Join us for a fun evening as the music echoes through the woods. Refreshments will be provided.
Seating is limited and registration is required by Wednesday, October 23. Cost is $10 per person. Program is for those older than 12 years.
