Tickets Now on Sale for Safer Pest Control Project’s Ladybug Bash


Evanston, IL–(ENEWSPF)–September 20, 2010.  Safer Pest Control Project (SPCP) will hold its Ladybug Bash on Saturday, October 8 from 7 p.m. to 10 p.m. at SPACE, 1245 Chicago Ave., Evanston, IL.

Come and enjoy delicious food including pizza from Union Restaurant, bid on cool items in the silent auction, groove to the sounds of the Steve Schneck Trio, and help to honor the Evanston Environmental Board for the successful passage of a sustainable pest control and pesticide reduction policy.

Tickets are $65 per person in advance and $75 at the door and can be purchased online at:  www.spcpweb.org/donate.

SPCP has been helping communities create healthier, pesticide free schools, homes and outdoor spaces for sixteen years.  SPCP is dedicated to reducing the health risks and envionmental impacts of pesticides and promoting safer alternatives with a primary focus on Illinois.  Its work is done through education, advocacy and providing expertise on pesticide use reduction.
