Chicago Heights, IL—(ENEWSPF)—June 21, 2012. Union Street Gallery begins its summer schedule of exhibits with ‘Insider Art,’ its annual presentation of work from the gallery’s resident Studio and Guild Artists. This show promises to maintain the high standards Union Street has been setting the past year year with its varied fare of curated and juried exhibits featuring prominent artists from all over the nation.
‘Insider Art’ is a diverse and visually stunning exhibit that will captivate your heart and soul. Art exhibited ranges from intimate still life to large, bold abstractions, from contemplative installation to urban realism that challenges our notions of identity. There is something for every viewer to connect to and appreciate in this exhibit.
Union Street Artists work in a number of media and directions, including oil and acrylic painting, drawing, pastels, photography, collage, sculpture, installation, fibers and digital art.
Join us this Friday to open ‘Insider Art,’ from 6-9pm. Many of the exhibiting artists will be present and open to discussion about their work. This exhibit and opening reception are free and open to everyone.
