Judge Stutley Hosts Schoolbag Giveaway Bash

Country Club Hills , IL—(ENEWSPF)— Over one hundred court wards were present to receive back to school gift bags. This event took place at Judge Michael Stuttley’s annual Back to School Cookout.  Located at Atkin Park in Country Club Hills, there was more than enough food, soda, face painting, games, and free gifts for all the children.

"Being an advocate four our young people is very important.  I believe in helping our young people," said Judge Stuttley.

This event featured appearances by the New Generation Drill Team from Chicago, and the Country Club Hills Fire Department.   The Fire Department gave all children plastic fire helmets and beach balls as souvenirs.

Juvenile Probation Officers from Judge Stuttley’s Markham courtroom put in a lot of time to make this event successful.  The probation officers assisted with the cookout, preparing and serving the food, organizing the games, and helping with the book bag giveaway.  Each bag contained school supplies.

"Education is the key.  It is very important our young people learn the value of an education.  In my courtroom it is important that each client must be enrolled in school,"
said Judge Stuttley.

Each one of the court wards who are presently on juvenile probation seemed to understand the value of an education.  Parents who were also present at the cookout supported the judge’s efforts.  This back to school cookout is meant to help all of Stuttley’s clients to be a very positive part of society.
