$1.5 Million Bail for Park Forest Shooting Suspect

Bail was set a $1.5 million today for a Park Forest man charged with shooting his pregnant girlfriend and her sister during a domestic dispute last summer in Park Forest.

Judge Darren Bowden set the bail for Timothy Lucas, 31, charged with two counts of aggravated battery with a firearm, according to the Cook County state’s attorney’s office.

Prosecutors claim that on July 18, Lucas became involved in an altercation with children living in the Park Forest home he shared with his girlfriend. When he began beating the children, his girlfriend tried to intervene.
