Park Forest, IL-(ENEWSPF)- The following is from the report Village Manager Tom Mick provided at Monday night’s meeting of the Village Board. Manager Mick provides an update at every Village Board meeting.

Neighborhood Meeting

The Village’s next Neighborhood Meeting is set for 7 PM this coming Wednesday, February 28th at Freedom Hall. Invited residents will be those Park Foresters who live south of Village Hall to Sauk Trail and from Orchard Drive east to the corporate limits. Residents looking for more information on the longstanding Neighborhood Meeting program can find it at the Village website here.

Saturday Morning Rules Meeting

The next Saturday Morning Rules Meeting will be at 10 AM this coming Saturday, March 3rd in the Board Conference Room of Village Hall. The meeting is open to the public and residents are encouraged to attend.

Job Opportunity: Village Recruitment

The Village of Park Forest is now recruiting for the full-time position of Building Maintenance Specialist. Residents seeking more information on this opportunity can click on the “Employment” link of the Village of Park Forest home page. The application deadline is March 15th.

PFBB Registration

Registration is now open for the 2018 baseball season for Park Forest Youth Baseball. Families with kids ages 4 to 14 who might be interested can visit Park Forest Baseball online to learn more details about the upcoming season. Beaux Arts Ball

The Tall Grass Arts Association will host its annual “Beaux Arts Ball” fundraiser on Saturday, March 17th. The theme will be An American in Paris and special honorees will be State Representative Al Riley and longtime Park Foresters Al & Barbara Sturgis.
