“What we know about President Trump’s budget is deeply disturbing. Far from strengthening the economic stability of working families, the released details show that the President and Congressional Republicans care more about strengthening the influence of special interests and the super rich.
I was elected to Congress to fight for working families. Whether in Washington or in Illinois, I won’t support a budget that’s balanced on the backs of hardworking American families. We should invest in American families, not give aways to the well-connected and super rich.”
