Shutdown could cause residents to experience issues with water
Park Forest, IL—(ENEWSPF)—October 8, 2011. A controlled shutdown of the Park Forest Water Plant’s high service pumps is scheduled for Sunday morning, October 9, 2011. The shutdown is estimated to last 1 – 1.5 hours and will take place between 8:00 a.m. and 12:00 p.m. During this time, the distribution system will operate off of the water stored in the water towers. Some areas could experience lower water pressure or have discolored water because of directional flow changes in the system.
