Park Forest, IL—(ENEWSPF)—June 6, 2011. The Village of Park Forest has several designated cooling centers for residents to help cope with the extreme heat. Cooling centers are located at:
Park Forest Village Hall, 350 Victory Drive
Park Forest Public Library, 400 Lakewood Boulevard
Park Forest Police Station, 200 Lakewood Boulevard
Residents are also encouraged to check on the well-being of others who may not have air conditioning units in their homes as well as elderly and/or disabled relatives and neighbors.
