DeLuca To Host Senior Services Fair

Chicago Heights, IL-(ENEWSPF)- State Rep. Anthony DeLuca, D-Chicago Heights, and his Senior Advisory Committee will host a free Senior Services Fair on Monday, Oct. 7 from 9 a.m. to noon at the Frankfort Township Center located at 11000 W. Lincoln Highway in Frankfort.

“Senior citizens are very special members of our community and it’s important they know I am here to assist them,” said DeLuca. “My Senior Advisory Committee and I have worked to put together an event that will assist seniors with some of the state programs and services they depend on.”

Participants at DeLuca’s Senior Services Fair will be able to receive free blood press monitoring and staff from Secretary of State Jesse White’s office will be available to assist in renewing driver’s licenses or acquiring a state ID card. In addition, the Illinois Department of Veteran’s Affairs, the Social Security Administration and Will County Senior Services will be present to help answer questions and provide information on their programs. Presentations will be given by representatives Will County Sheriff Paul Kaupas’ office, the United States Department of Veterans Affairs and the Rich Township Advocate Volunteer.

“It’s not very often that this many agencies are all in one place to help answer questions people might have,” said DeLuca. “I invite residents of the 80th district to come out and take advantage of this free fair. You never know what information you could receive that might provide a solution to a problem, or just save you time or money.”

To RSVP, for more information or state-related questions please contact DeLuca’s full-time constituent service office at 708-754-7900 or email [email protected]
