Park Forest, IL—(ENEWSPF)— The final street sweeping in Park Forest for 2009 will begin on Monday, November 16, 2009. The work will start on the north end of the Village and proceed south.
The multi-family areas of town will be swept on Friday, November 20, 2009 (weather permitting).
Residents are asked to avoid parking on the streets from 7 a.m. until 5 p.m.
Yard Waste Season Ending Soon
Park Forest residents are reminded that the last pick-up date for the 2009 yard Waste Season will be Tuesday, November 24.
Please keep in mind, Village Code prohibits leaves from being raked into the street as they can clog gutters and drains, and may result in flooding during heavy rains. Piles of leaves can also become road hazards and cannot be swept by the street sweeper.
